Grant has proudly contributed to his family’s enterprises since joining the team in 2015, carrying on his family’s automotive industry tradition. Those who knew him best recall him as a multi-talented individual. Grant was a prolific interior and graphic designer in addition to helping out with the family auto business and the Shetler Christmas lights, which his great-grandfather, the late Don Shetler, founded. As an enthusiastic antique merchant, Grant traversed the globe looking for unusual furniture, stamps, cameras, typewriters, cuckoo clocks, and other items. He accumulated an astonishing amount of valuables, including priceless family treasures.

The late Queen Elizabeth II’s husband gave her the pet name Cabbage, which Grant called his corgi after because he was so fascinated with the history of the British royal family. Grant often wore a bow tie and showy socks, in keeping with his renowned sense of style. One of Grant’s numerous skills was in the kitchen; he helped his grandma gather cherished family recipes for a cookbook. Because of his countless hours of volunteer work with the elderly, Grant was a beloved presence in numerous assisted living facilities throughout the years. Before joining the first class of St. John Berchmans Academy, Grant attended Notre Dame High and St. Michael School.
