Christopher Gerhard “Chris” Dinkel passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at HaysMed. He was 57 years old at the time of his death. His wife and two girls were with him when he passed away. He loved his family dearly. He was born in Hays, Iowa, on April 8, 1966, which is his birthday. Melvin J. Dinkel and Clarita (Pelzel) Dinkel, his parents, were individuals. Chris worked alongside his father at LK Dairy and was quite interested in sports when he was a child. His favourite schools were Fort Hays State University and Thomas More Prep Marian High School.
Despite attending Fort Hays State University, it was there that he eventually obtained his bachelor’s degree in education. After exchanging vows and becoming husband and wife, Chris and Kimberly Bagby were married on July 21, 1990, in Hays, Kansas. The two stunning girls that sprang from the marriage of these two people are named Joslyn Kae and Katelyn Brianne. One of Chris’s father’s greatest contributions was building the family house, where he and his wife reared their daughters and commemorated their 33rd wedding anniversary.
Before moving on to Hays High School, where he taught for 25 years, Chris was a football coach and teacher at LaCrosse High School. He was presently enrolled in Hays High School until then. There he stayed for twenty-five years. He was hired by Otis-Bison High School after retiring, and his job involved overseeing the creation of the school’s Industrial Technology Programme. This was a multi-year occupation. His goals as a teacher were to assist his pupils in reaching their greatest potential and to provide assistance for their extracurricular and classroom activities. His goal was to assist every one of his students in realising their full potential.
